The Way I See It

An American woman's views on current and social topics.

RED MENANCE OR RED SAVIOR?

There was a response to a comment I made on Nicole Malliotakis’s post on META/Facebook the other day by a person named Joe F. This person made a nasty comment about former President Trump from his obvious personal hatred and insinuated he knew me by my reply to Nicole’s post. Sadly for him, I have an open mind and strong convictions.

Former President Trump has recently been found guilty in a New York City Court case on 34 criminal charges. As a believer in our laws doesn’t mean I always have faith in what a jury determines from whatever evidence is presented to them. Sometimes jurors are convinced by the prosecutor or the defense attorney. Sometimes the evidence is not what it appears to be so I won’t blame the jury since unless someone on that jury has true common sense to point out the inconsistency in what was presented to them they have no choice but to make a decision based on whatever so called facts they were given. If I was a member of that jury I would use whatever common sense I have to determine my final decision. Perhaps that is exactly what happened. I don’t really know since I wasn’t there. As an armchair observer do I think everything he was accused of true criminal behavior….no I don’t. I see the things he might have done in his business dealings before his Presidency far less criminal-like behavior than what other former Presidents have done during their actual time in office.

For example, and in my opinion, the actions of former President Obama and Clinton were never brought up on criminal charges for accomplice to murder of an American Ambassador and military veterans (Benghazi)… and the other ..sexual predatory behavior (Monica), both while sitting in the Oval office. Those things were swept under the rug as quickly as possible, never presented to a jury of their peers despite plenty of evidence. However, I am also certain they are not the only two politicians/Presidents to use their power to protect themselves. However, a media vendetta against former President Trump fueled the fire to oust him from future pursuits to reclaim the Presidency. Politicians who do not want change in the way they do things added to that vendetta. That so called insurrection on January 6th also was not caused by former President Trump, the only part he may have had was having the same personal observance that the group who actually performed the storming of the Capitol had, only most people said nothing aloud and without acting upon it as that particular group did… people only thought of doing it. Do you have any real statistics about how many other Americans had the same feelings as that group did? No… those statistics will never be revealed even if they exist because the fear of politicians being discovered of abusing their power won’t allow it.
Nor will the average American reveal they thought the same way for fear of being targeted by the government in office. It’s all heartbreaking to me as a nobody.. observing and knowing all these facts to sit back and be afraid. I feel strongly about my faith in America and that I have a right to my free thinking. So what I am expressing here are the things I can see and my thoughts about them. I can feel the hatred from those who read this who refuse to give me the benefit of the doubt that I may just be making a valid point.

So let me tell you what I am like when it comes to politics. I read, listen and observe politicians. If their POLICY intentions agree with my own beliefs I will vote for them regardless of party or any other factors. If they are willing to state that this country has always been a safe haven for the proven persecuted and abused, this is the land offering a beacon of hope as it always has been, despite its’ errors in its start. If they admit we aren’t perfect and we are learning hard lessons from mistakes our representatives have formerly made…. that no matter those errors we are still the best place for citizen protections worldwide. If their policies are:

  • believing in American ingenuity
  • that our borders should always be open with better immigration policy ( such as: a set Quota for every single country around the world by allowing us to welcome all vetted and/or sponsored individuals to enter and become American citizens who contribute to the established society and obey its laws
  • To not let millions of people stay here who hate us outwardly.

A major candidate promise for the Office of President should be multi fold in my idyllic vision for America’s future… first enhance the American economy, second ….change the current immigration guidelines, third.. allow ENGLISH to become our sole national language as to allow a true Unity by using a common language in public usage as every country worldwide practices…. speaking their own language mainly thus giving them a common unified voice! Go back to the foundation of our country where we are defenders of the rights of all people and all religions and all cultures. Stop the brainwashing where each individual culture living here tries to make their culture more valuable than the established American culture. If people live here, work here, earn a living here, raise families here, practice their own religions here, they need to be United in American values and protect this country against all enemies.

The policy I heard and read about former President Trump seems to align with my own beliefs and although I realize he is no more perfect than the rest of us, his transgressions far less harmful to the country as a whole than those before him, I believe he is being given a raw deal because he is disliked on a personal level. Not because his POLICY on protecting all aspects of America is wrong, it’s not. He proved that when he was the President and our country was economically sound, our enemies were kept close so we would know what they were up to and transparency in government misdeeds were coming to light. Until the vendettas from personal hatred started to feed gullible people fabrications they could believe cause it fit their agenda for taking America to its knees not because our country is bad, but because their believes don’t align. Whether I like him or not, doesn’t control my vote. The policy of any politician will always earn my vote.

As I See It, here in Jackson!

About Me

As an average, American born woman I’ve decided to write and share my thoughts and beliefs in a blog. This blog will be very simple and hopefully click with the rest of the people out there, who feel as I do, but just can’t express it with words, on a variety of subjects.
